HOW TO WIN LORD OF ULTIMA?

THE GOAL OF LORD OF ULTIMA:

This is pretty straight forward; your main goal is to become Lord of Ultima, the sole ruler of the land of Caledonia. Whether this happens by uniting those around you, or by crushing all who would oppose you, is entirely up to you.

HOW TO BECOME LORD OF ULTIMA:

We won’t tell you which is the best route to take to become the Lord of Ultima, that is up for you to decide. We will however let you in on the criteria you need to meet in order to attain the title “Lord of Ultima”.
• Once a world has been live for somewhere between 4 and 6 months, “Shrines” will begin to spawn at ruinous locations which look somewhat like Stonehenge. There are 8 of these locations on each continent.
• There are 8 different types of shrines representing the 8 virtues of Ultima (Honor, Compassion, Valor, Spirituality, Justice, Sacrifice, Humility, Honesty)
• The Shrines will not spawn all at once. They will spawn over a number of months.
• All continents will have 1 shrine before the first continent receives its second (this practice continues until all continents have 8 shrines).
• Players can found cities on these Shrines. Any city founded on said Shrines will automatically have a Castle/Palace enabling opposing players or Alliances to attempt to capture the Shrine.
• Once in possession of a Shrine you can upgrade the Palace which will grant one of a number of possible bonuses onto each member in your Alliance, e.g. “attack power +10%”. As the Palace level increases, so too will the bonus it confers.
• The level up to which the palace can be upgraded depends on the amount of shrines the WHOLE ALLIANCE owns. E.g. (not final numbers) 1 shrine = level 10, 3 different shrine types = level 30 and all 8 different shrine types = level 80
• To upgrade the palace to the highest level, the alliance needs to control at least one of each of the 8 shrine types.
• The player who is able to upgrade a Palace to the highest level (e.g. level 80) first, will become “Lord of Ultima”. His Alliance will be considered victorious, however only the first player to have a Palace at level 80 will be considered the Lord of Ultima.
