The Lord of Ultima 2nd City Strategy:

Ok, so you have placed your 2nd City next to your first city. It is time to go over a few things...

Buildings that Wont Be Needed:

• Moonglow Tower 
• Trinsic Temple 
• Warehouses 
• Recruitment Buildings 

As mentioned previously the only way to expand from this point is research through title advancement. The main goal of your 2nd City is to supply resources to your first city for purification so do not  waste time on recruitment buildings for now.

Simply upgrade your Town Hall; build plenty of Wood, Stone, Iron and Farms with Cottages next to them. It is also crucial that your 2nd City has a big enough Market to send resources to your first city. At this stage your score should be around 2500 -3000. You now need to stop worrying about your score, which will naturally increase with the number of buildings and upgrades in your 2nd City. 

Buildings Needed in Your 2nd City: 

• Wood Cutter Lodges 
• Iron Mines
• Stone Quarries
• Farms 
• Markets 
• Townhouses 
• Cottages 

Again, get resources to around 5-6k p/h as with your first city, then simply send resources to your first city for purification.If you are worried about been raided you should have no resources stored in your 2nd City they should all be passed to your first city every few hours. 

Purification needed to get to Earl level two is:

400k Wood, Stone, Iron, Food and 320k Gold!

To Get to 320k Gold You Will Need to Trade Some Resources (Read Post on Trading) 

This Stage Can Take a Week Depending on Your Resource Levels and how wisely you use them! 

While you are purifying this vast amount of resources start building a strong defense which is mentioned under the post defense strategy.
